A Day of Fishing at Wild Acres Farm on Sunday, 4/28 before the conference starts!
For leisure or competitive fishing enthusiasts!
Light breakfast, food, drink throughout the day and cookout provided.
Transportation provided from Westin Downtown, departing at 6 a.m. and arriving back at the hotel by approximately 5 p.m.

When registering, choose your option –
• RECREATIONAL POND FISHING $150 PP – A day of fishing at your leisure on a warmwater stocked pond while enjoying drinks and snacks provided plus the afternoon cookout.
• COMPETITIVE FLY-FISHING TOURNAMENT (teams of two) $249 PP – Sign up is by person but you can indicate your preference to be paired with someone who is signing up. Catch & Release two-person teams are limited to no more than 24 teams (48 participants) Three beats (i.e., locations) rotating every 2 hours followed by a cook-out and presentation of winners with prizes.

Note on Fishing equipment – bring your own or rent (rental prices coming).
All anglers must have a valid PA fishing license.

URBAN STREAM RESTORATION FOR PLANNERS BY RiverSHARED

RiverSHARED - Urban Stream Restoration for Planners
LOCATION IS OFFSITE AND WILL BE PROVIDED
This is an add-on Exclusive to EMC Attendees. Fee is $700 in addition to conference registration.
RiverSHARED strives to provide a 5 to 1 student to teacher ratio at this course.

Through a series of case study presentations and site visits, this two-day workshop will explore how stream restoration projects have been initiated, designed, and built. Presenters will discuss how stream restoration practices can be used to protect infrastructure and land value, improve habitat, and water quality, and provide recreational opportunities for the community. You will hear from various speakers about their incentives for using stream restoration, their project identification and prioritization process, their funding strategies, and the various lessons learned from stream restoration projects across the region.

By the end of this workshop you should be able to:
a. Identify stormwater solutions that are regenerative, resilient, and ecologically restorative where appropriate.
b. Concisely describe, catalog, and prioritize stormwater opportunities.
c. To know how to progress opportunities from discovery to project initiation (design).
d. Know how to assess maintenance needs
e. Connect with a network of supportive colleagues.

Speakers: Government and tribal nation/indigenous peoples officials are usually provided a complimentary or discounted registration and is dependent on the finalized program. All others may be provided early, discounted or complimentary registration depending on the overall program. If applicable, a registration discount code will be provided.

Sponsors & Exhibitors will be provided a discount code as part of their selected level for staff registration.

REFUND and SUBSTITUTION POLICY

Substitutions can be made at any time through the link provided in your confirmation email. Refunds are not provided as there is a virtual option available with recorded content. Should event be moved to 100% virtual format, this would not be a cancellation of the event. All existing registrations would be reduced to the earlier tier rate, and the difference between your current rate less the earlier tier rate put towards EMC 25, unless you request this difference be returned to you less 20% processing fee. Virtual registration is at the same rate should someone not be able to attend in person or vice versa. Virtual attendees will be able to access live stream of the main stage sessions and any other sessions that are to be live streamed, connect with attendees via the event app and access content from recorded sessions.

Our scholarship program is available to help those who are otherwise unable to attend. Priority is given to Local and State Governments, Tribal Nations, Indigenous Peoples, and Students. This program can provide partial or full registration, with potential for some or all travel costs covered.
